A dense forest path runs east and west. Large trees line each side of the path, their canopies blocking out most of the sunlight. The woods are strangely quiet. A faint breeze blows through the trees.
This small field borders the town of Daleville. Tall grass sways in the gentle breeze. Insects buzz around among the wildflowers. To the west lies the path back toward Daleville. To the east, the field begins to merge with a forest.
The forest path continues east and west here. The eerie silence is extremely unnerving. An occasional ray of sunshine breaks through the thick canopy overhead, creating many strange shadows. A faint breeze filters through the woods.
The path continues east and west. It is rather dark now, due to the fact that the growth overhead is very thick and old. No sunlight can penetrate the thick treetops. The only sounds that can be heard are the crunching of leaves underfoot.
The forest path comes to an intersection at this point. A partially overgrown path leads off to the north, while the main path continues east and west. Flickering shadows can be seen through the trees to the north. The breeze carries the faint smell of decay.

This small glade is almost completely dark. No sunshine is able to pass through the trees above. The smell of death is heavy in the air. A bloated body of some humanoid creature is partially exposed in a shallow grave.
The path runs east and west here. Thick moss is growing on many of the tree trunks, due mainly to the fact that no light can penetrate through the treetops. The soft rustling of leaves is the only sound in the otherwise silent forest.
An old, crumbling well dominates this area. The well seems strangely out of place here. It appears that it has not seen any use in quite some time. An opening in the trees lies to the north and a path leads west into the forest. Soft scuffling noises echo up from within the well.

The sun shines down fully on this spot, bringing a feeling of peace. All of the normal forest sounds return to your ears here. A small spring bubbles forth cool, fresh water here.

This section of the woods opens up into a very large clearing. The ground is trampled and broken branches lie scattered about. Some bones lie among the branches; they appear to be humanoid. A path leads off towards the east.

Occasionally, small animals pop their heads up and look around, surveying their surroundings. To the west, the treeline grows thick, showing only one opening. A large house lies off to the east.

A large, three-story house dominates the landscape. Stained glass windows decorate parts of the front of the house. Ivy vines grow wild up the sides of the house, giving an almost camouflaged effect. A simple wooden door leads into the house.
This is the bottom of a dried up well. Dust, rocks and webs adorn the well. A halfling-sized hole is in the eastern wall of the well. Strange tracks lead into and out of the hole.
The tunnel here is very small. Cobwebs hang from the ceiling and lie in clumps on the ground. Small, dried up husks of what looks like rats litter the floor. Tunnels lead north, south and west.
The tunnel here is completely covered in webs. Spiders of various sizes move within the webs, giving the webs the appearance of being alive. The tunnel leads north and east.

Bones of all sizes almost fill this room completely. Most of the bones are old, but some of them look like recent additions to the pile. A good portion of the bones look like those of a small humanoid. The tunnel leads north.
Webs dominate the majority of this small passage. Bones of varying size litter the floor. Parts of the webs seem to undulate, almost as if they were alive. The tunnel runs south and east at this point.
Thick strands of web hang down from the ceiling of the tunnel, making movement through here difficult. Tracks of some strange animal or creature can be seen in the dust on the floor. A large amount of spiders also move about within the webs.
The passage branches into three separate directions at this point. The webs hang thick from the ceiling making passage through here difficult. Shriveled up husks of some small humanoid creatures litter the floor. Puncture wounds are evident on various parts of their bodies.
This alcove is unusually free of the thick webs that were so common in the tunnel. It appears that most of the webs have been either ripped away or purposefully left out. A quick search reveals a small niche in a corner of the room containing some old equipment.
This part of the tunnel has been partially blocked off with rocks and a lot of webs. It is unclear whether the blockage is intentional or if the tunnel collapsed at some point in time. Movement catches your eye through the webs.
The passage turns here, running west and south. The lifeless husks of small humanoid creatures lie in mass quantities about the tunnel floor. Webs hang from all parts of the ceiling, blocking vision through most of the tunnel. Strange tracks cover the floor.
This cavern is rather large. Webs fill the majority of the cavern. Spiders mill about along with many strange creatures. Some of the creatures move towards the back of the cavern, while others pick up weapons and prepare to attack.
This is a rather large room at the entrance of the house. Detailed, yet simple paintings adorn the walls. Light filters in through the stained glass windows on the front wall. A large room lies to the east.
This room is decorated with some nice furniture. A large table with six chairs around it sits in the northwest corner of the room. A small, circular couch is placed in the middle of the room with a few small end-tables placed in various locations. There is an entrance to other rooms on each of the four walls.
This small study is adorned with only a desk and chair. A small window allows a little light into the room during the day. A spiral staircase leads up to the second floor.
The kitchen is surprisingly clean. A large oven takes up the majority of the northern wall. A wash basin is on the west wall next to a utility drawer. Eating utensils rest in neat bins inside the drawer. A door leads down into the cellar.
Shelves line each wall in this room, all filled with books. While considered a small library, this is still a rather impressive collection of books. A small table and chair sits in the corner, allowing a quiet place to read a book or do research. Something is scratched on the side of the bookcase.
The hallway is lined with candleholders evenly spaced about one every ten feet. A spiral staircase leads down to the Study from here. Doors are at the ends of the hallway as well as on the northern wall right here.
A plush feathered bed, an oak dresser and an oak nightstand all make this room look 'lived' in. A few articles of clothing lie scattered about the room. The bed appears to have not been made in quite a few days. A small archway leads off into a room to the north.
This room was designed for sitting and doing things such as sewing or weaving and the like. A large window provides ample light in the room during the day and a beautiful view of the countryside too. A comfortable looking daybed rests in front of the window.
This room is rather sparsely decorated. A wooden framed bed, a dresser and a full length mirror are about the only things in the room. The mirror seems a trifle out of place, being that its value appears to be quite high. An open doorway leads north into a smaller room.
A large, comfortable looking chair dominates the room. A window lets light into the room, usually enough to read by during the day. A single shelf holds a few books, scrolls and other manuscripts.
The closet is filled with various cleaning supplies as well as sheets, towels, blankets and some spare clothes. The door south leads back into the hallway, and there is also a door to the north.
This small room behind the closet is the way up into the attic. A very thin staircase leads upwards into the darkness. The door on the southern wall leads into the storage closet.
The air in the attic smells old and musty. Piles of old clothes lie about the room. Chests filled with unknown objects have been placed in various spots along with some old furniture. Cobwebs are prominent in the corners of the walls and ceiling.
Amazing! After stepping into the mirror, you are transported into this room. A single trunk sits in the middle of the room. The only other piece of furniture is a mirror bearing a striking resemblance to the one you used to get here.
The cellar has a small wine rack, an extensive spice rack and some barrels of ale. Sacks of flour and grain lie in neat piles against one of the walls. A rickety staircase leads back upstairs to the kitchen.
Large. Strange. Incredible. All these words can describe this room. The room is about the size of the whole first floor of the house. A few wooden supports have been placed in strategic locations to keep the house from falling in on itself. Chests and crates occupy a good portion of the floor space. Apparently someone has been quite busy.
