The path here is made of white cobblestone that have been painted with pictures of demons, devils, and other grotesque creatures of this desolate area. The pictures appear to move and squirm. To the north is a large iron gate. This path also continues to the south.
Here the cobblestone path ends. This 40ft high iron gate blocks the way in. There is a large demon head shaped lock on the gate. On the other side of the gate is an ever changing tower. There is an aura of great evil from there. To the south the pathway continues and to the north is the Iron Tower, which seems to shift and change.
Here stands a searing iron tower, goes up into the flaming red sky as far as the eyes can see. Its shape is constantly shifting in size, shape and paintings. It's painted in blood, showing scenes of demons and devils fighting humanoid creatures. There is no apparent way into this massive tower. The north face of the tower doesn't seem to shift. To the south is a large iron gate.
The floor of this very wide rectangular room is covered with skeletons, some are dressed in tattered rags, others are very gray with age, and others have turned to dust. Many of the skeletons have collapsed in mid combat, their bony fingers wrapped for all time around the neck of another. There are no doors, only way out is up to the balcony.
This balcony is made of multicolored misty vapors. The only way out of here is flying somehow. Below is a skeleton pit and above is a very white colored room. The vapors have a lovely sweet smell, but burn the senses and leave a sticky film on anything it touches.
Pure, unblemished whiteness is all there is to this round globe shaped room. Nothing but an endless lack of color. The floor seems to be there but the feeling of floating is ever present. There is a stairway up to the center of the room, it is long, sleek, and void of any color. Below is a balcony filled with vapors. At the top of the stairs moaning can be heard.
Cruel instruments of torture clutter this blood-spattered room. The walls are covered with thick smoldering chain. From the ceiling more chains hang. There are dead bodies being held in horrid devices which are lined with blades and screws. There are other bodies in various forms of decay hanging in the chains. The stench here is overwhelming. There are stairs leading down to a completely white room. The stairs going up lead to an observation room for the tower's owner.
This half circle transparent room offers a heart stopping view of the rocky wasteland which lies outside the Iron Tower. No way to get any sense of direction but one can see mountain ranges with large cave entrances. A dark red river off in the distance. The sky is lit with fireballs and streaks of lighting. Dark winged creatures fly off in the distance and one can hear a howling wind of screams. The stairs down lead to a torture chamber. The stairway up leads to another round shaped room.
Gems cover the walls in this circular room. Each gem seems to have a shadowy figure swirling inside. The floor is polished white stone, void of any color at all. Try as one might the gems can't be removed. At the center of the ceiling is a hole with a rope ladder hanging down. The rope goes up into a dark area of the tower. The stairs going down lead to a view to the outside.
This hallway is very long and the walls are painted with pictures of torture. There is a warm breeze which flows through here. The screams of tormented souls can be heard off in the distance. It is flogging the prisoners with a large metal whip. There are stairs leading down into a darkened hallway and a library at the top of the stairs.
The walls of this triangular shaped room are covered with bookcases. They go up over 25ft. The bookcases are full of old books, tomes and scrolls. These are Tome of Vile Deeds, How to Torture without Death, Codex of Infinite Planes, and The Libram of Ineffable Damnation to name a few. The stairs leading down go to a room that has a lot of heat coming from it, many screams can be heard from the room below. The stairs up go to a prison chamber.
This three sided room holds 3 prisoners. Each a large wolf hound looking creature with strange human looking head. It has human looking hands as well. It whines pitifully. Each of these captives is not held by chains but by four large black snakes. The hissing heads are wrapped around the neck, wrist and ankles, the thick bodies and tails are burrowed into the wall. The stairs down lead to the Library and there are stairs going up into a dark area.
The hallway is very dark and still. The walls are painted black which gives the hallway a closed and cramped feeling. It slowly slopes upward leading to a way out. Screams of terror seem to be on the other side of the hallway walls. The stairs leading down go to a prison room.
This hallway is made of bones and is littered with many bones. These bones are in different sizes and appearances. The bones looked to be cleaned and polished. Movement through here is slow. There is a bone staircase leading up into a treasure room. Below lies a darkened hallway.
In the center of the room is a colossal horned skull. The skull takes up half of the room. Its eye sockets look like tunnels leading into the skull. The floor is covered with various items of treasure. The skull is a brilliant white in color and it's hard to look at. The stairs leading up goes to a prison/torture room. The stairs down lead to a hallway made of bones.
This room is dark except for the bit of light in the center. There lies a horrifying sight, a beautiful woman stands encased in a solid block of iron up to her shoulders. The iron block is part of the floor. The iron block is covered with various magical symbols and odd markings. Out of the top of this woman's head sticks four swords. The woman's eyes follow any movement in the room, with a pleading gaze, she does not speak. There are stairs leading down to a giant skull, while the stairs that lead up go into a beating heart.
The smell of blood is overwhelming in this pulsating dripping cavern of a room. It looks like the inside of something's stomach. The floor is very slippery and it's hard to get a grip. The pulsating sound of a beating heart fills the room with a body-rattling thunder. The stairs leading up go to the kitchen. Below this room is a prison for one poor tortured soul. This appears to be a storage room for the kitchen.
This is a very busy kitchen. The odor of burning flesh emanates from this room. There are three demon cooks, with huge horns and claws. One of them is turning a spit on which is a humanoid creature without its head. Another one is preparing stuff heads a la carte. The last demon is cleaning corpses to prepare for baking. Below here is heard the pulsating sounds of a beating heart. The stairs going up lead to a misty doorway.
