Uma Ravenclaw's Humble Abode

This is the Home of Uma Ravenclaw. The room is huge to accommodate a woman of Uma's Girth. There is an enormous feather bed in the south-east corner of the room and a dining area on the opposite side of the room. Many items have been left scattered around the room. They seem to be the various souvenirs of Uma's adventurous youth. Some of these items seem to stand out amongst the others. On the mantlepiece, rest three wondrous objects: A Hug from Tamara, A Smile from Ash, and A Wink from Ganymede. These seem to be Uma's most valuable and prized possessions.

Gates of the City of Caderra

The narrow, winding tunnel snakes deep into the cloying darkness. The tunnel is so low one must stoop to avoid bumping into the rough ceiling. Suddenly, the tunnel opens up into a large natural cavern. Dank moisture drips down from the stalactites hanging from the roof of the cavern, and trickles down the walls. The interior is faintly lit by a phosphorescent fungus which grows in abundance. The eerie light flickers off a huge iron door set into the north wall of the cavern.

Long Descending Hallway

This is a wide hallway carved of smooth stone. The glass spheres on the walls shine dim light along the hall. The walls are covered with strange images and carvings that can barely be discerned due to the thick dust and the dim light in the room. As you glance at the walls, you notice that a section of the wall to the west seems slightly different than the rest of the hall. The stones that make this part of the wall seem to lack the intricate carvings with which the rest of the walls are covered.

Intersection

This is the intersection of two large corridors. The stone floor here differs slightly in that the dust that has settled on the floor has been disturbed by numerous footprints. The tracks are from various creatures which brings you to the horrible conclusion that you are perhaps not alone here. But more frightening still, is the size of those tracks! You just hope that whomever or what ever made those tracks is long gone by now. The passage to the south ascends towards what seems to be light. To the east and west are long corridors that extend beyond your field of vision. To the north you see the crossing of yet another hallway.

Center of the Grand Chamber

This is the center of a vast chamber. This area of the room is rather nondescript except for the strange floor. The floor is tiled of a dark, black metal that clanks noisily underfoot. The magical orbs of light from the outer areas of the chamber cast dancing shadows across the room's center. This area of the chamber seems cooler than the other parts of the Grand Chamber. The chamber extends in all directions.

North Side of the Grand Chamber

This is the North Entrance to the Grand Chamber. Large statues stand in the four corners of the Chamber. You cannot quite make out what the statues represent, although they appear to be of humanoid figures. The floor along the outside of the Chamber is smooth, white marble that still retains its polished shine. The center of the Grand Chambers is tiled by what appears to be a dark metallic material. You notice that the floor of this area is clean and seems to be well kept. There are large statues to the east and west, and to the south is the dark, metallic center of the Grand Chamber.

East Side of the Grand Chamber

This is the eastern wall of the Grand Chamber. The floor here is of smooth, white stone that glimmers in the light of the magical, glowing orbs. Large statues are standing in the corners of the chamber to the north and south. To the west is the center of the Grand Chamber. The floor is different there and is made of a black, metallic material.

South Side of the Grand Chamber

This is the South Entrance to the Grand Chamber. The smooth, marble tiles that make up the floor here still retain their high polished luster. To the north, however, the floor is crafted from a strange black metal. To the east and west can be seen large statues. The statues are quite large and appear to be in the form of humanoids, but from this distance their exact forms cannot be discerned. A narrow passage leads south out of the Chamber and to the north can be seen the Center of the Grand Chamber.

West Side of the Grand Chamber

This is the western wall of the Grand Chamber. This floor here, as well as to the north and south, is crafted from highly polished, white marble. In contrast to the gleaming white floor along the outside of the Chamber, the center of the Chamber is tiled from a dark, black metal. To the north and south are great statues that stand like sentinels of some ancient kingdom.

North-Western Corner of the Grand Chamber

This is the corner of the Grand Chamber. A large statue of solid platinum is erected here of a robed human. The figure is wielding a long staff and is facing the center of the Chamber. Around the figures neck hangs a shining amulet. The amulet is crafted of a glowing crystal and is embedded in the platinum folds of the figure's robes. The North Entrance to the Chamber is to the east and the chamber continues to the south.

North-Eastern Corner of the Grand Chamber

This is the corner of the Grand Chamber. There is an enormous statue of gleaming platinum standing in the corner facing to the southwest. The figure is very large and appears to be of Giantish and Human lineage. The mighty warrior is clad highly polished plate armor and is shown wielding a large club with a number of sharp spikes protruding from it. Around the waist of the great statue is a sparkling girdle of glowing crystal. The North Entrance to the chamber stands to the west and the chamber extends southward.

South-Eastern Corner of the Grand Chamber

This is a corner of the large chamber. A finely crafted, platinum statue has been built here. The statue seems to in the image of an elven archer clad in studded leather armor. The figure is notching an arrow into a long bow and seems to be watching the center of the chamber to the northwest. You notice something peculiar about the arrow grasped in the elf's hand. The arrow is crafted of glimmering crystal and glows slightly. To the west can be seen a passage out of the chamber and the large chamber extends to the north.

South-Western Corner of the Grand Chamber

This is a corner of the Grand Chamber. A large, platinum statue has been constructed here by some lost civilization. The beauty and craftsmanship of the statue is astounding. The idol is in the image of a beautiful, robed female carrying a large, crystal staff. The woman is crafted of solid platinum except for large staff, which is crafted of fine crystal. The woman is facing to the northeast and seems to carry a serene expression on her face.

The corridor narrows greatly as it bends to the north. To the west, you see a small junction of another hall.

A Large Chamber

This is a large chamber of smooth stone. The room has a dull glow from the globes of light attached to the walls. A light breeze rushes through the chamber stirring up the light dust that has collected on the stone over the years. A passage leads out of the room to the north and another leads to the south.

Dusty Marble Stairs

A large staircase of smooth marble dominates this small room. The stairs have a coating of fine, powdery dust that seems to have been left undisturbed for ages. A very slight breeze flowing up the stairs from below gives off a slight hiss that gives you an uncomfortable feeling. A small passage leads west out of the room.

Narrow Corridor

This is a small corridor carved from smooth stone. The stone appears to have been worn smooth from use as opposed to being polished smooth by skilled hands. The passage is lit by small glass globes on the walls. The passage continues southward and also curves to the east.

A distinct rumbling noise of rushing water can be heard coming from the south. To the south can also be seen the remains of a large bridge. It appears that the ancient bridge has collapsed from the strains of time. There now stands a large chasm in place of the spanning bridge. The hall continues northward and ends abruptly to the south at the site of the fallen bridge.

Over the Underground River

You are floating in midair high above an underground river. The steep walls of the ravine form an enormous cavern here. The air is rushing by at great speed as it pushed by the fast moving river below. There is what remains of an ancient bridge on the east and west sides of the chasm. The structures seems to have collapsed over time. The cavern extends to the north and south and the rushing river is down below.

Cavernous Passage

This is a rough tunnel of solid rock. The passage appears to have been a naturally formed cave that was excavated long ago. By the size of the droppings, you get the feeling that perhaps this isn't the home of any bat that you have seen before...

Smooth Chamber

This is the center of the smooth, stone chamber. A number of rotting chests are here as well as to the east and west. The pale light from the glowing orbs reveals that the wall on the south side of the room has crumbled away and a dark pool of rushing water now flows along that side of the room. There appears to be space above the waters surface to the south and perhaps one could swim out into the pool. The room extends to the east and west.

Narrow, Rocky Passage

This is a winding passage of rock. The passage appears to have been crafted to appear to be nothing more than a narrow fissure in the rock. The half hidden door to the south gives away the passage's origin. A large door stands at the south end of the tunnel and is half covered by a thin layer of rock to make it appear to be part of the natural wall. The door's concealment must have broken away over time. The passage leads north and south.

Small Rocky Ledge

This is a small cavernous room. Most of the room is devoured by a large hole in the floor. A small passage leads to the south.

Smooth Chamber

This a large chamber carved of smooth stone. Under the light of the crystal globes can be seen many rotting, wooden chests laying in pieces along the west wall and more can be seen to the east. The room seems to have been a storage room or perhaps a treasury by the looks of all the chests. To the south, it becomes clear why the room was abandoned... The wall has eroded away and a large pool of dark water is there. The water is flowing swiftly and appears to be, perhaps, part of a subterranean spring or river. The wall to the south has was worn away by the moving water and due to the changing water levels, there is some space between the ceiling and the water's continues to the east.

Fresh air has filled the space and allows you to breathe. The cold water flows in from the south and turns west. You cannot help noticing a loud whirling sound coming from the southwest. A large room is to the north and the cold water of the pool extends into the darkness to the west and south.

Dark Pool

The dark water of the pool flows quickly here. The disturbing gurgling sound is louder here. It seems to be coming from the east. The water of the pool extends north, east, and south.

Whirlpool!

You now know what was causing the water to move so quickly. A large hole is in the floor of the room. The water is rushing downward with such terrible force that you cannot hope to swim free. The hall continues north and a set of large iron doors stands to the south.

Wide Hallway

This is a short, stone passage. The passage connects with a large hallway to the west and a large chamber to the south. Above the entryway to the open chamber is a large plaque made of polished silver. The plaque seems to be faded beyond recognition. The once beautifully polished metal is now only dull and gray.

Small Cell

This is a small, dank cell. The room is cold and damp and many rusted manacles hang from the walls. It doesn't seem as if the cell guards frequent this cell much, however, considering it is sealed off from the other passages. The remains of many poor, forgotten prisoners lay scattered about the room. An iron door stands to the east.

Secret Passage

This passage has been sealed off from the rest of the passages for some reason. From the looks of the room, it could have been concealed centuries ago. The passage is narrow and much more crudely carved than the other halls around it. To the west is a large iron door with a small, barred hole in the center.

The water is flowing to the west and has a strong current. The river flows into this area from the east and flows westward.

The passage leads to the west and an intersection is to the east.

Beneath the Underground River

The water here is very dark and cold here. On the floor of the river is a small pile of objects that seem to have fallen into the river from above. The floor is also covered with rubble from the ruined bridge that once spanned the chasm far above the river. The dark water flows swiftly to the west and is quickly replaced by more water from the east.

Musty Passage

This is a stone corridor. The walls are cold and beaded with drops of moisture and the floor is made of many large, cracked stones. In the cracks in the stones have begun to grow green patches of moss and mold from the damp air. The hall continues to the north and to the south.

The small landing here is of highly polished, white marble. A staircase of the same design leads to the level above. A layer of fine powder covers white stone. The walls are inscribed with many intricate designs and carvings. A magnificently wrought pair of golden doors stands to the east. The doors have a number of runic symbols and writings inscribed on their gleaming, metallic surface.

Entryway to the Crypt

This is a large chamber of white marble. Large, white pillars rise up to the arched ceiling and add support to the vast chamber. A number of stone coffins rest along the outer edge of the chamber. The coffins do not have lids and are open to view. You notice what appear to be armored remains in the coffins. You can only guess that these are the coffins of the Crypt's Guardians. A large golden door stands to the west and another large door of iron is to the south.

Hall of Reverence

This appears to be some sort of antechamber of some sort. The walls of the chamber are lined with what resemble small altars. Each altar is adorned with small trinkets of various types. They seem to be offerings left in remembrance of lost friends and loved ones. The walls are of the same white stone as the other chambers, but here the stones are decorated with gold and silver. A large iron door stands to the north and a large stone archway leads west into a larger chamber.

Ancient Sanctuary

This is an enormous Sanctuary Chamber with magnificent pillars to support the ancient ceiling. The pillar in the northwest corner of the room seems to have given way some time ago and the ceiling in that part of the room has an altar that was mostly destroyed by the fallen ceiling. To the west, next to the remains of the Great Altar, stands a set of platinum doors with a strange crest emblazoned upon them.

Ancient Path of the Kings

Light glimmers off the gold and silver offerings from the large, magical spheres that hang in each corner of the room. A large sarcophagus rests near the south wall of the crypt and presumably protect the King during his eternal sleep. In the center of the room there is a large, ivory monolith dedicated to King Thoele.

Beneath the Underground River

This is the bottom of the dark river. The water is flowing very rapidly here. Visibility is limited because the wild currents are stirring up the sand from the river floor that obscures vision. Through the chaos, however, can be seen the cause of the abrupt current changes. The chasm through which the river flows comes to an abrupt end here and the path of the river narrows to a small tunnel in the cliff to the north. As the water approaches the tunnel, the speed of the river increases greatly. The tunnel, although small in comparison to the size of the chasm, is quite large and it appears that the edges of the tunnel have been worn very smooth by the perpetual flow of water over the rock. The surface of the river can be seen overhead and the dark water of the river flows in from the south.

Beneath the Underground River

This is the bottom of the underground river. The large chasm ends in a huge wall of rock. A forceful current flows into the area from a large opening in the east end of the cliff wall. The water is rushing out of the opening at such a high rate that it would be nearly impossible to enter the tunnel. The surface of the river can be seen above and the river flows west.

On the Underground River

A large river flows here. The walls of the great ravine come together to the north. The dark waters of the river flow into the area from the south and as the water nears the cliff, it becomes very turbulent. The cause of the rough waters is a tunnel in the cliff just below the water's surface. The river is rushing into the tunnel and causing the currents to become wildly unpredictable. The ravine walls extend up on both sides leaving a vast, open cavern overhead.

It appears to be carved smooth and fashioned into a small room.
