Privacy
Grindy Mud, a free text adventure game.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, and how you log in (a password, Google or Discord). Passwords are kept by our login service, Supabase, and never by the game itself.
- From Google or Discord: only your email address and the fact that you logged in with them. We do not see your password or your contacts.
- Your characters: everything you do in the game (names, levels, items, the map you have explored, your scripts) and what you write in it (chat, private messages, the feedback you send).
- Connections: your IP address, to limit failed logins and new accounts, and in the server's logs.
- Play statistics: counts such as characters made, levels reached and deaths, to see how players get on and balance the game.
What we do with it
We use it only to run the game. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or send you anything but the emails you ask for (confirming your address, resetting your password).
Who else handles it
- Supabase keeps the login (email and password).
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Railway hosts the game and its database.
Deleting it
Delete your account from the character screen ("Delete account"): your characters and your login go with it.
