Warrior

Warriors are the basic cannon fodder of the game. They fight well, and can use some magic items (though they can't cast magic.) They get relatively good hit points. You can improve your skills by using the study command, in the room in the warrior's guild with the guildmaster. Many skills also improve with use, so you might want to only study each skill once. You should also practice your weapons with your guild master. To review your current skills, use 'study w'.

Warriors, barbarians, paladins and rangers get more attacks each round as they rise: 1 + level/20, up to 2.5 at level 30. A fraction of an attack counts as a whole one, so from level 21 on they strike three times a round. Haste doubles the attacks, slowness halves them, and riding halves them too. A second weapon held (DUAL WIELD) may give one more.
